From France With Love|Toronto Distillery District
It was curiosity that moved Julien from France to Canada. Little did he know, he would meet his soulmate. Looking back, Julien now says Shirley made it worth the trip!
We were honoured to capture a small piece of their love story with an intimate wedding celebration here in Toronto. On a crisp, sunny morning in late October, we began the day with bride and groom photos in Toronto’s beautiful Sherwood Park.
The details of the dress, the softness of the veil, the fresh flower bouquet, even the flare of those red shoes could not match the glow of our gorgeous bride and handsome groom.
This couple only had eyes for each other…
While in the park, there was time to dance…
… time to play…
… even time for a stroll through the forest…
… before going to the ceremony…
Shirley and Julien’s intimate wedding ceremony took place at Tappo Restaurant in the Distillery District; an historic Toronto neighbourhood overflowing with character and charm. Here, tears soon turned to laughter…
… and, laughter soon turned to celebration…
Julien’s family traveled from France to join the celebration and were ready for some family fun.
It seemed only fitting that the wedding favours were sachets of Le Chatelard 1802 Lavender from Provence and from Julien’s parents’ garden. But, let’s just take a moment to admire those rings…
At day’s end, it was all smiles for these two and there was no mistaking the love they share.
Shirley and Julien, thank you for inviting us to capture the moments of your wedding day… we know this is just the beginning of your love story.
